Choosing
Ephes. 1:4‑5,11 For he chose us in him before the creation of the
world to be holy and blameless in his sight. In love 5 he
predestined us to be adopted as his sons through Jesus Christ, in
accordance with his pleasure and will‑‑ ...11 In him we were also
chosen, having been predestined according to the plan of him who
works out everything in conformity with the purpose of his will,
Chosen

love, in whom I delight; I will put my Spirit on Him, and he will
proclaim justice to the nations.

of whom was born Jesus, who is called Christ.

you; and you will be comforted over Jerusalem.
Commander
Rev. 19:11‑16 I saw heaven standing open and there before me was a
white horse, whose rider is called Faithful and True. With justice
he judges and makes war. 12 His eyes are like blazing fire, and on
his head are many crowns. He has a name written on him that no one
knows but he himself. 13 He is dressed in a robe dipped in blood,
and his name is the Word of God. 14 The armies of heaven were
following him, riding on white horses and dressed in fine linen,
white and clean. 15 Out of his mouth comes a sharp sword with which
to strike down the nations. "He will rule them with an iron
scepter." He treads the winepress of the fury of the wrath of God
Almighty. 16 On his robe and on his thigh he has this name written:
king of kings and lord of lords.
Compassionate
Lament. 3:22 Because of the Lord's great love we are not consumed,
for his compassions never fail.

Christ Jesus himself as the chief cornerstone.

Neh. 1:5 Then I said: "O Lord, God of heaven, the great and awesome
God, who keeps his covenant of love with those who love him and obey his
commands...@
Covenant-making
1 Cor. 11:25 In the same way, after supper he took the cup, saying,
"This cup is the new covenant in my blood; do this, whenever you drink
it, in remembrance of me."
