men of Athens! i see that in every way you are very religious. for as i walked around and looked carefully at your objects of worship, i even found an alter with this inscription: TO AN UNKNOWN GOD. now what you worship as unknown I am going to proclaim to you. - Acts 17:22-23

what is mars hill all about?

mars hill is a place where young adults can feel free to get together and spend some quality time with other young adults and to learn more about the word of God. we seek to encourage healthy relationships between ourselves and fellow Christians, ourselves and the world around us, and ourselves and God. we seek to make true in us Bible teachings and principles and to show the true love of Christ to all who come to us. we love to laugh, have a good time, and love God. feel free to join us if you like to do any of those things.

why the name "mars hill"?

mars hill was the place in Athens Greece where all the big wig philosophers came together to discuss the ideas of the times. here at mars hill we love to talk about what is going on in our world and what the Biblical Christian response to all of it should be. we love to talk about all kinds of issues and topics facing the world today kind of like our own little modern mars hill.

study opportunities

there is a weekly Sunday school session from 9:00 to 10:15 during the first worship service of Faith Evangelical Church. this is a great time to dig deep into specific areas of the Christian walk and faith. the Sunday school hour includes young adults, not so young adults, and not so adult youngs. coffee is provided.

there is a weekly in home Bible study on Tuesday evening from 6:45 to 9:00. this is a great time to spend with other young adults and to hear sound teaching on the word of God. please join us if you would like to be involved in a small in-depth group bible study.

mars hill is also holding a biweekly move night on Saturday evenings in the basement of Faith Evangelical Church starting at 6:04. come and join us as we watch classic favorites or new blockbusters every other week. snacks will be provided.
