Faith Church
desires to be a church that is inwardly strong but outwardly
focused. we desire to integrate good deeds with the Good News into
the life of Faith Church. as a church we value impact and influence
in the community and we desire to be salt and light in our
neighborhoods. to this end we have many outreaches in the community.
some are one-time opportunities and some are ongoing outreaches.
here is a list of those ongoing commitments that we’ve made to be
Christ’s hands and feet to the city of Loveland.

Serve the Homeless
through Interfaith Hospitality Network -
Faith
Church has an upcoming opportunity to serve 3 – 4 homeless
families the week of October 11-18. Faith
Church in conjunction with eleven other churches is part of
the Loveland chapter of Interfaith Hospitality Network.
through this ministry screened families who are without
homes spend a week at Faith Church approximately 5 times
each year. our Sunday school rooms are converted into
comfortable bedrooms, and a common eating area is set-up for
breakfast and suppers. volunteers are needed to serve these
guests as overnight hosts and meal hosts. it’s a great way
to help meet some folk’s physical needs as well as an
opportunity to provide friendship. often these families are
a single parent with their children. Being part of the IHN
program allows them to have several months to save the money
needed for rent payments, utilities, and for other expenses
of having a home. for the church family it gives us an
opportunity to be Christ’s hands and feet to these people in
need. for more information or to volunteer contact Chris
Perciante at 970-663-0522. |
