Attic: High School

"And the things you have heard me say in the presence of many witnesses entrust to reliable men who will also be qualified to teach others." 2 Timothy 2:2

Mission Statement

The mission of the youth ministry of Faith Church is to win youth for Christ, disciple youth in Christ, and equip youth to serve Christ. To this end the program offers kids the opportunities to hear and respond to the Gospel, become rooted in the scriptures and in their faith, and discover and use their spiritual gifts in ministry.

The large group meeting of the senior high program, The Attic, meets Wednesday evenings from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. in the Hall of Faith. All high school students are welcome regardless of their church background. This meeting usually entails fun activities, inspiring worship, scripture based teaching, and small group reflection.

Expectations

In addition to the Wednesday evening meetings there are girls' and boys' Bible studies, sunday school (which meets at 9 a.m. in the Hall of Faith), and special events throughout the year. These events include retreats, mission projects, backpacking trips, fun events, and conferences.

Different Opportunities

Youth Missions

Every year we take our Attic Youth Group on a mission trip to help them learn how to teach the Gospel, and relate to teens in different cultures or mind sets then they would normally meet here in Loveland, Colorado.  This year we are doing a cross cultural mission trip to High Wycombe, England.  This page is going to give you a "heads up" on; upcoming fundraiser events, documents needed for the trip, and any other information we might need to get out to you.
