It's BBQ Time! Sunday, July 22

All are welcome to come and sample the BBQ!  Please bring a potluck dish to share, along with picnic blankets or lawn chairs.  Invite your friends and neighbors!

The event starts at 5pm, with site setup beginning at 3:30pm for BBQ contestants.

 
 For BBQ Contestants ONLY:   Please park in back of the 1518 Covered Wagon address .  To get there, instead of turning onto Single Tree into Prairie Trails subdivision, turn on the gravel drive immediately (only 10 feet max) to the east of the road. Continue on the gravel road up to the top of the hill and park as indicated behind the event property.  This will allow easy access to the event so you don’t have a long way to walk and carry food and equipment.

Who will be crowned this year’s PitMaster?

Contestants should prepare enough meat to feed a minimum of 12 hungry men.  However, please plan to serve your meat in sample sizes so that judges and attendees can both go through and sample from as many people as possible.  Faith Church will provide tables, sink, paper and plasticware as well as buns.  Please plan to bring whatever else you need for your entry.

 Judging Criteria:  Taste, Tenderness, Appearance, Proper Use of Spices/Rubs/Sauces
