Bronco’s Kicking Great Wows Crowd

Jason Elam as a Broncos kicker rarely disappointed his fans on the football field and Sunday night, April 10, Jason wowed the crowd of 400 people in the Hall of Faith. The evening started with a humorous skit created and performed by Rob Kuseski and Caleb Howard. Rob then introduced Jason to rousing applause. Jason gave an inspirational talk that he called being “all in”. He related stories such as John Elway being “all in” in the Super Bowl victory over the Green Bay Packers. He talked about the 11 disciples after Christ’s resurrection being “all in” as demonstrated by each suffering for Jesus or dying a martyr’s death because of their love for Jesus. And Jason told how his own family of six was now “all in” as they’ll soon be serving as missionaries with e3Partners primarily in the Middle East. After Jason’s speech everyone enjoyed some great desserts made by many of our own Faith Church ladies. Jason graciously signed some 200 autographs for anyone desiring an autograph. It was a powerful and fun evening.

Courageous Movie Night Huge Success

Saturday, April 21, 2012 Faith Church hosted a movie night featuring the film Courageous. The story of Courageous has an important message about family. Courageous is a call to men to rise up to the Biblical standard of manhood, to serve their wives and children, and to be pillars of intergrity in the community. Some 70+ men and women enjoyed this dynamic film. The youth gathered together on the same night to view and discuss the movie separately.
