Flying Wallendas Walk the High Wire

Saturday evening, June 29 Tino Wallenda and his children Aurelia and Allesandro entertained over 400 people on the Faith Church lawns with their high-wire artistry. The Wallendas are 7th generation high-wire artists and circus performers. On a warm, still summer evening Tino and family demonstrated tricks on the high-wire while sharing their profound faith in God with their audience. Following the 55-minute show everyone enjoyed ice-cream Sundays. Many at the show were friends, relatives, co-workers and neighbors of Faith Church members and regular attendees.

Bronco’s Kicking Great Wows Crowd

Jason Elam as a Broncos kicker rarely disappointed his fans on the football field and Sunday night, April 10, Jason wowed the crowd of 400 people in the Hall of Faith. The evening started with a humorous skit created and performed by Rob Kuseski and Caleb Howard. Rob then introduced Jason to rousing applause. Jason gave an inspirational talk that he called being “all in”. He related stories such as John Elway being “all in” in the Super Bowl victory over the Green Bay Packers. He talked about the 11 disciples after Christ’s resurrection being “all in” as demonstrated by each suffering for Jesus or dying a martyr’s death because of their love for Jesus. And Jason told how his own family of six was now “all in” as they’ll soon be serving as missionaries with e3Partners primarily in the Middle East. After Jason’s speech everyone enjoyed some great desserts made by many of our own Faith Church ladies. Jason graciously signed some 200 autographs for anyone desiring an autograph. It was a powerful and fun evening.
