Jedidiah and Kayla Olson - Serving with Youth With A Mission in Phnom Penh, Cambodia

Our Mission: Youth With A Mission has two primary goals, "To Know God and To Make Him Known." Within that, YWAM has 3 facets:

Convey: evangelizing to those who have never heard.

Change: training Christians to reach the world for Christ.
Care: providing practical need to those who need God's love shown.

After 6 weeks of continual travel in South America, we were glad to arrive in the States to spend the Holidays with friends and family. Soon after arriving,Jed’s family took us on a cruise for a Christmas vacation. At the end of November we road tripped to Nebraska & Missouri to visit Jed’s grandma, some friends from college, and a few supporting churches. A big thanks to everyone who let us stay in their house!

At the end of November we will be in Louisiana, where we will be getting our first—finally—pregnancy check-up! Kayla is 23 weeks now and we have both been able to feel some kicks! We thank God for such an easy pregnancy so far with no sickness. Please be praying all continues to go well in our pregnancy. We are also looking forward to catching up with all our family, friends, and supporters.

We plan on remaining in the States until the baby is born and ready to travel.

Preparing for Cambodia. Besides preparing for a huge life change with a baby joining the family, we are also going to be actively preparing for our move to Cambodia. While in the States, we will be raising funds for adding a 3rd person (and potentially 4th & 5th later on) to the family and getting ready for our ministry. We plan on working to provide sustainable alternatives to the child sex trafficing in Cambodia.

How You Can Pray For Us:

We are still in need of $3000/month support for our Cambodia living and ministry expenses.
Pray for us as we continue to plan for next year's ministry. We still plan to deploy to Cambodia when the time is right next year.
Pray that YWAM's Jubilee Year (its 50th anniversary) brings much fruit for the Kingdom.
Pray for the new ministries YWAM Cambodia is pioneering over the next 5 years: 1) expand locations 2) expand ministries 3) send Cambodians into cross-cultural missions.
Pray that the Cambodian government will continue to allow freedom of religion as some parties try to pass anti-evangelism laws.
