The Youth Staff is a blend of full-time staff members, part-time staff members, summer interns, and youth volunteers.  The Youth Pastor here at Faith is Dr. Bill Ackerman; the Assistant Youth Pastor is Nick Williams.  Our full-time intern is Ashley Johnson, and our part-time staff member is Mark Pestridge.

Bill and his family came to Faith Church in 2007.  He and his wife, Kim, have been married for over 20 years and have an Nine year-old son, Alex.

Bill has been serving in youth ministry in various capacities for over 25 years in a variety of settings, most recently serving for 13 years as the Assoc. Pastor for Youth in a Presbyterian church in New Hampshire.  He has had the privilege of directing PFR’s Great Escape Conference in New England, and leading youth events for other renewal organizations such as PRRMI.  He has D.Min. and M.Div. degrees from Gordon-Conwell Seminary, and a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Penn State University.  He has worked as an ordained youth pastor, design engineer, general contractor/developer, and owned his own business.  An outdoorsman, Bill loves to backpack, ski, and do all things fun. 

His vision for youth ministry is to lead kids to Christ, disciple them, and turn them loose to evangelize and make disciples among their peers.  To accomplish this goal at Faith Bill has assembled a team of adults who work closely with the teens on a weekly basis.  Concurrently, he and the youth staff work with a team of student leaders who take the initiative to help their peers to grow in their relationship with Jesus.  Bill desires to see a new generation of Spirit-filled believers arise who will wholeheartedly follow Christ and turn the world upside down once again.  If you would like to contact Bill feel free to use either of the following ways:

Nick has been the Assistant Youth Pastor since May 1st, 2008.  He was raised in Loveland Colorado and has been attending Faith Church since he was in the 6th grade.  He joined the church in early 2001 and has been working with the youth at Faith since later that summer. He graduated High School from Loveland High  School.  He graduated from Frontier School of the Bible in 2007 with a Bachelors of Arts degree in Biblical Studies.  He coaches football for the Loveland Youth Athletic Association, and is also a member of the board for that organization.  If you would like to contact Nick you can feel free to use either of the following ways:

David moved to Loveland in October 2009, and has been attending Faith ever since. His parents are Bob and Sharon Hallissy, who were sent from Faith in 1987 to serve God with Wycliffe Bible Translators. David spent the first 12 years of his life in Texas where his parents worked at the Wycliffe Center in Dallas, before they got the call to serve Wycliffe internationally in the United Kingdom. David finished his secondary schooling there before taking a year out to serve his church as a Youth intern. David went on to get his bachelors degree in Theology from London School of Theology, and is excited to use his education to serve the youth of our church.

Since being back in the United States, David has been training as a pilot to pursue his call to serve world missions in the field of Aviation. He works part time on our staff primarily working with College age young people, as well as doing discipleship with the High School boys.
